Since I am new to this website, I don’t exactly understand how to use it yet. Please bear with me as I get use to everything. I thought for my first post, I will post a poem that I wrote a few months back. I started to write poetry last month, so I am still quite new to it. I do need feedback because I do not know how good or bad I am.

The world’s spinning- eternal beauty
Narcissus, a condemned flower
Forever trapped in waters eternity
Your veins drape down by the
Riverside, blood flowing
As the droplets make love
To the wild breeze

Ageless mothers, crying out
Figurines of wax angels
Golden aura
&
Silk laden shoes

We spirited children
Must await for dawn
To please the lords
And to find a new way
To seize the light
