20 Or So Pounds Left in Help Me Please

And then I am at my first huge goal and then only about 20 or so pounds left after that.
The one thing I have noticed about this weight loss is that my whole mind set has changed and so has my language and I have learned that what I am doing is NOT a diet but rather a way of life and I need to do this for the rest of my life. Which means no eating 5 bags of chips in one sitting or that whole Costco pumpkin pie in one sitting but rather have just a taste or one chip. But I can’t do that because I just want more after that and then the feeling of over eating is there and I feel really gross and disgusted with myself.
There is a book that I would very much like to read because it’s a good reference of how to change your mind set and I think it’s based on the Weight watchers mandate and science.
The book is called The Shift and it’s written by Gary Foster. here is the link for it. I know Amazon has it for about $33.00 and I think it’s free shipping.
So between now and the holidays I will be getting this and then I will start reading this book.
This week I have lost 3.2 pounds and this is the second most weight loss I have done. But the trick is not to eat one day during the week because that cleans out your insides and then you can start a new. But I do drink coffee and diet pop because I figure I need the liquid to at least pee every now and then.
Onto something else....
It looks like my son will be coming for Turkey and he will be here at lunch time so we will see and the Turkey will be done with a paper bag because it’s suppose to be a lot more juicier. it’s my moms secret that she passed onto me.
And today hubby said for me to go do some much needed shopping especially for fruit and vegetables and some other stuff that might be on sale. And then for dinner hubby said that we can order in but I am not really sure if I want that. But wait and see till he gets here for the weekend.
Onto something else.....
Well I need to stop here because waking up at 5:00 am really sucks and I need more sleep…so do have a great day, Be Kind, Be Calm, Be Safe and Behave.
