When You Wake Up? in Help Me Please

What is the first thing you do?
I go pee then I plug in the kettle for my coffee and then put a teaspoon of instant coffee into my coffee cut then go outside for my bad habit then I come in and pour my hot water into my coffee cup then read my e-mail and then I start to write my journal, and after that I play games at Facebook till hubby gets up or I wake him up and then he gets ready for work and then when he leaves I go for a nap which is about an hour or so and then my day actually starts.
Today all I really need to do is laundry so that will get done and then dinner and lunch for hubby tomorrow.
Yesterday I made Shepherds pie and it didn’t turn out like I thought it would. I accidently left out some of the liquid and I didn’t use any butter for the potatoes on top but other then that I did learn the potatoes need something because they get this skin on them after it’s been in the oven to heat up. So next time I will use a splash of milk.
And also yesterday I went to the dentist and other then not flossing and brushing everyday I have had no cavities and there is a tooth the dentist is watching so it was a good appointment and I go back in 6 months.
Onto something else....
Dinner for tonight is going to be boxed fish because I am going to be a lazy cook today and maybe French fries and some frozen vegetable oh and tarter sauce. But hubby like liquid lemon so he will have that.
And hopefully this headache will go away soon. I really don’t like waking up with headaches because all I do is wish it would go away and that is all I am thinking and not much else is happening in my brain cells.
It’s weird how we focus on what hurts and waste so much time feeling sorry for us and yet we really don’t do much to help ourselves except take more pills but I often question if these pills are really what we need and if there isn’t something better? Have you noticed that we are taking nothing but pills or some sort of liquid for our pain and aches? It’s no wonder I feel like a medicine cabinet most days because if I don’t take my pills then I will go nuts and start getting all my issues I had before these pills started to work and without some of them I could maybe be dead? But I am finding the more weight I lose the less pills I need to take so then it’s not so bad.
Here is a question? When you are in pain do you just stop what you are doing till the pain gets less or do you continue on and make the pain worse? I wonder if mind over matter really works at controlling pain and for how long? Have you ever tried that?
I know when I am not feeling well I really slow down and not do much. Sometimes I will go into bed and watch TV till I feel better or I have to pee which ever comes first.
So next week is Thanksgiving here in Canada what are you Canadians going to do this day? Make a Turkey and invite me over? Or just have a few friends and family over? And what do you do with the left overs? or are there none? Me I will cut the meat off and give some to my son and keep some for hubby for his lunches and this year I am going to try different recipes so we can have something different. One of my reader gave me a lot of good ideas what I can do with the left overs so now I need to remember what she said and do them. But then she is a really good cook and the stuff she does make always sounds so mouth watering I just want to go to her house for dinner.
Onto something else.....
I have noticed that some more people are coming here from OD I am not sure why but the only guess I do have is that the support people are not doing their job. But I am glad that more people are coming here and welcome to my crazy world.
Well I need to stop and get some more coffee down me so I can actually hold sharp objects like a spoon.
