Do You Question Everyone And Everything? in Help Me Please

I was having a conversation with one of my face book friends yesterday about questioning the higher power and the good lord. They told me they never question the good lord and I asked why and they just told me because they just don’t and didn’t want to talk about it again. So that left me wondering if you don’t ask questions then how are you suppose to know the why’s of religion? And since when there is only one answer for everything?
So if the good lord tells you to run across the street naked you have to do that? My question would be why? What would it do for me and wouldn’t I get arrested? Or is the higher power the best excuse to use? ” He told me to do it?”
I was always encouraged to ask questions no matter what and I have. So for someone to tell me not to question religion is just not right.
You remember when this Covid 19 first came into the world didn’t we have all kinds of questions that we wanted to know? like how sick would people get and how long will we be sick for and will we die? And what do we need to do to protect ourselves? then the vaccine came out and everyone wanted to know if it would really help and what the side effects were going to be. Now I only have one question about this vaccine and this virus and that is why isn’t 100% of the people vaccinated because there is help and it will eradicate this and we will have a free life so to speak. Except we still have to follow the laws of our countries and the land.

But then I wonder if we ask too many questions we won’t remember all the answers and will have to ask them again and again? And how many of these questions will be stupid questions? Or is there such a thing as a stupid question?
Here is another question for you? have you ever prayed for something and actually got it when you asked for it? I have prayed a few times and I have never ever gotten what I asked for this made me think that if I want it bad enough I would have to either earn it or get it myself and that is when I realized that prayer does not work for everyone. And isn’t better if you depend on yourself to get what you want in life and to ask for prayers from people you really don’t know will get you really no where? I have never ever seen money fall from the sky so there for how can the good lord be looking after you? I would think that you need to look after you because no one else will. And I am not really too sure that there is a higher power up there or anywhere else so it’s all you. And yes you can ask people for favours and to help you but the chances of them actually doing it will be slim because they have their own things to do.

Onto something else....

Well it’s Friday and tomorrow is one more dat for hubby to be working then we get to spend two day together driving each other crazy. But the one thing I won’t do so much is talk to myself and remind myself what needs to get done or not done.
Speaking of reminding myself of doing things I need to ask my son if he is going to be coming for dinner this weekend he still hasn’t given me an answer. So far all he has said is maybe.
And on Monday or Sunday hubby wants to go run some errands which means I get to walk around the grocery store and wave at the chip isle and say sorry but I am not getting any of them. But we will be getting whatever protein we need and some more fruits and vegetables so it should be a cheap trip because I also got my weekly grocery order so we really don’t need much.

Onto something else.....

Well I need to stop here. I need more coffee and to get thing done, so…
