Between the cows and the blackberries in I don't know....

Most of you know or may remember that we live in a log house. The foundation is bad and we pay way too much in rent, but it's home for now. Next to us is a pasture/ranch and we get to watch the cows. They are really fun to watch and moo at!! We, well I, enjoy it immensely. The calves herald in the spring and it's fun to watch them grow and play.

We also have wild blackberries. There were some last year, but they seem to be in abundance this year and it is blackberry season NOW. I have been picking in our yard and up and down the fenceline along our county road. I've made a beautiful lemon cake with a blackberry filling and I'm hoping to get a good enough amount in the next few days to make a blackberry cobbler with them. We've had them in fruit salad also. =)

God gives joy in strange ways. For now it's in the cows and the blackberries.
