Just one of those days! in Hot town, summery in the city - 2017

Well, I successfully ran the 25 minutes required for C25K today so it’s got that going for it. 🤣

This morning I planned to spend a couple of hours making a photo book of my Ridgeway runs, to keep for posterity. Then I was going to take the mountain of stuff I’ve sorted to charity now that most places are taking donations again.

Nice plan huh?

When I usually make photo books I upload the pics I want and press the “do whatever you want” button but I wanted these to be organised with the blurb I put on Instagram for each section.

Five hours!!! It took FIVE HOURS!!! Sorting the photos, uploading the photos, choosing the layouts to suit the photos, cropping the photos to fit etc…. FIVE HOURS!

By then it was time to pick R up from work so I put my sandals on. I thought one had come undone but it hadn’t. “Huh” I thought, “it feels loose.” Then shrugged it off.

On the way to R’s work I was driving on the back lanes and had to swerve as a car hogging the centre of the road came towards me at speed and I hit a pothole which made a HELL of a noise!

Got to R’s work and noticed a Hub cap missing.

Drove back, both of us keeping our eyes peeled on the side of the road. Nothing.

Got home and walked up to the bit of road near out house that you can’t see because of the central reservation. No Hub cap and I noticed that the strap on my sandal had come loose.

On a positive note, I start my job next Wednesday and I’m cacking it!!
