Mother's day drama *PICS* in 2014

First of all, Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful mommies out there!! I had a decent day. Got up, Chris got up with the girls so I went back to bed. I didn't sleep because lets face it, you can't sleep when kids are being insane and excited. All I could hear them talking about was mother's day. It was kinda cute.

Then I heard them leave so I got up and tidied up a bit around the house. They came back with mini roses and chocolates and gum (yes weird I know, they picked it out lol) and Chris proceeded to make eggs benidict. YUM.

Of course all good things must come to an end. But they really don't have to go completely in the opposite direction do they?? Of course they do. The kids started acting up. Yay. They stabbed a screwdriver through a box that had our toaster oven in it, so its all scratched. Chris was mad so I just said to him that maybe if the kitchen was actually finished, that the stupid toaster oven would have been in the kitchen where it belongs. I guess I didn't have to say that, but I did. And he got mad. He said "well you shouldn't have gotten braces then, that money could have helped us finish the kitchen!!"....

Sigh ... I just blasted him back with the simple fact that I've completed and furnished 3 bedrooms in this house, a porch and a laundry room all on my own this year. INCLUDING paying for my braces, which he hasn't paid a cent towards. (Not that I've asked, this is my thing). But yeah, our bedroom set? Plus the two extra dressers and night stands, I BOUGHT, put together, assembled whatever... that was me. I bought the curtains, I bought the bedding, extra pillows, sheets etc. Me. I even bought the damn lamp and pictures etc on the walls.

Miley's room. Shes had two different bedroom sets now. The browns ones, again, I bought with the money I get from you know, photography etc... I don't work a full time job no, but every cent I get, goes to helping out the household. Miley has changed her bedding 4 times, and finally has something she likes. I paid for the paint, the trim, the drywall, the other paint (ugh) all the "Frozen" themed stuff etc... bookshelf, dresser, blind, curtains, all the way down to the damn shelves I installed myself and the closet bar.

Evelyn's room, the bed, mattress, desk, table, lamp, cute name thing on the wall, canopy etc... everything, me... I did it. All while paying for my braces. Never mind all the groceries and toiletries I've purchased, kids clothes, gas for the truck, like...I could go on forever. Sorry I didn't contribute to the damn kitchen renovations, I have enough to take care of.

I hate when I come here and vent like that. He generally isn't so much a pain in the ass. If I asked him for his bank card for anything, he would hand it over. I just never have. I feel like we are the couple that doesn't share the money, and no, I wont because I can see him spending frivolously or buying something that I wouldn't like... I don't say anything about where his money goes, but he really seems to care where mine goes. He thinks I spend it on myself. The last time I went shopping and got myself anything, was like 3 months after Evelyn was born because I dropped so much weight that I had no choice. We're talking 2.5 years ago.

Yeah, I bought my braces. Thats it. In my entire life, I've never made a purchase this large before. LAY THE FUCK OFF.

Anyway, after all that yesterday, I took the kids to the park to meet up with Tracy and Tiffany and their girls, we spent the afternoon there, it was lovely. Chris showed up with Iced Coffees later on to apologize I'm sure lol.

Such a beautiful day, and I really had a good time with my friends. Here are some pics.
