The weekend in Life

There was a lot going on this weekend, but I'll tell most of the story in pictures. (Which means I have a lot of pictures and I'm just too lazy to type it all out right now. lol Saturday was Cbaby's birthday. She's 12. My baby is 12. I didn't know how it would go. She's grounded from everything right now. She's started having trips and classes to go to with the tribe. She's training to be a junior leader, plus she's in band, so there's band practice. So, for her birthday, her parents got her a go-phone and minutes. She was so excited about it that she brought it to school to show it off. She got caught, of course, and got alternative school. That's extreme, but it's the rules. So she's lost the phone for a month, she's grounded for the weekend from everythng, and she's not supposed to use anything electronic for a week. (That lasted till the water got hot with the rest of us.) So, she didn't get to have a real party. We all went over to my sister's. (Truly a hoarder's house.) Here's some shots from her birthday. She's a HUGE Duck Dynasty fan. I won a box of some pretty cool stuff and gave most of it to her for her birthday. (Tootie took what she wanted first, won't go there. She's not my favorite person right now.)
Bubba and Lucy came with Rose. She MAY have tasted the icing. :D
Then we had Mother's Day the next day. Everyone was there. They even brought Angel with them this time. (She had "chosen" to spend the day before with Lucy's mom. )
Bubba and Angel ended up in the tree, as always. lol
My mom loved spending time with Rose
So did Tootie, even though she swears she's not going to get attached.
I found some Eastern Bluebird eggs in one of Mama's bird houses.
Martini chased a skink under the old trailer. (The trailer my sister and the kids first lived in after moving out from my parents. It's trashed and full of crap. Daddy wants to burn it down. They refuse. I may take a sledghammer to the posts and be done with it.
One of Mama's flowers. It was pretty.
All in all, a good weekend. Then I came home pretty late. As always I looked to the tree...only it wasn't there. It fell while I was gone. Luckily it fell at just the right angle and missed everything. (Which means the landlord will take his sweet time, I'm sure.) Half of the driveway is blocked, but he won't see that as a problem. sigh
It was too dark to get pictures, but I'll get some tomorrow.
Now it's midnight before my last full week of school. I need to be asleep. I'm not. That's not going to end well tomorrow.
