large update in Second 1st

So the real problem with journaling is that nothing ever happens until something does.... then it feels like it’s a huge effort to type stuff out until there’s a ton of stuff.... at some point it doesn’t even make sense to say anything at all …like…
We’ve moved back to weekend shift.... finally…honestly it’s been great. I worked 3 weeks before I ended up with a morning in which I couldn’t make it. ..... The thing that has pretty much worked itself out to a point where it’s pointless is that .... at my job they announced that if you took proof to HR about being vaccinated you could go maskless!.... David as soon as he was approved started asking people when they were getting vaccinated. He went maskless for all of 2 weeks when they announced they are again required for everyone because of the Delta strand. LOL yes that is funny to me..... but not something to journal about.....

I’ve made a short list and intend to follow it..... let’s see… Rocky working… ah yes
So he’s in Paint on the weekend crew. They don’t actually paint but they spend the whole weekend cleaning the paint area.... filters, machines.... all the things. After the first weekend he was complaining about having asthma issues. He made it sound like a big issue and I was genuinely concerned. I told him call HR and see if they can put him in another position before quitting to find something else. He told me about having talked to his supervisor about getting a respirator (pretty much a gas mask). I told him to go ahead and call HR and cut out the middle man. Making it faster to get one and showing his willingness to work. Apparently, his supervisor was a little upset that he’d written an email for nothing .... but Rocky had an appointment during work hours in which he got paid on that Friday.... so I see no real reason for him to be upset. ..... It was a big to do for me because for a whole 24 hrs. Rocky let me believe he needed it all day for 3 days..... once he’d called HR and I’d heard his end it became much more clear that the period he needs it is like 3-4 hours on Saturday when cleaning a specific area. So that’s a relief...... However, after talking to me Saturday night .... after I myself had made a complaint about something (further in post) he had to tell me he had an attack..... also he needs a foot bath thing now.... because his feet hurt...... smh

This last week.... and the next 2.... are full of Dr visits.... Last week Tuesday Rocky had gone to a dermatologist ..... he’s been concerned about a place on the back of his neck.... it’s just a couple of blackheads and he wouldn’t take what little advice I had to give him. So now he’s got some slightly expensive wash and regiment he needs to get on and stay on...... While we were there I made an appointment for myself.... why?

I’ve had a bump under my arm nearly 3 years. I have gone to the DR before.... who said it was a blind zit or an ingrown hair and if it wasn’t bothering me not to worry about it..... so I haven’t. Last Saturday it started to hurt.... and I’d thought I’d just ask the skin doc to check it out when I was in with Rocky.....

Then Krystal happened. She messaged me asking if I had any of those face cage things that you put inside a mask to keep them off your lips and nostrils. I did.... so she came and bought them and hung out for a little while. I told her about the lump and she begged me to go to an urgent care or something. I made a call and threw that out the window..... the one place wanted 125 due after visit..... could not do that. So I called our PCP and got in Thursday.....

While at skin Doc I made an appointment for Monday just in case PCP didn’t have a clue. I cancelled that though..... our doc said it’s an infected cyst and gave me antibiotics..... you guys this has got to be the worst experience of my life to date (aside from Meniere’s).......seriously. It was so painful over the weekend! and before I went to bed last night it started draining..... disgusting and nauseating..... seriously I wish this on no one.... After the infection goes down I’ll have to make an appointment to derma in order to have the cyst removed..... small surgery I guess? ....

So Rocky’s Dr was Tuesday.... me Thursday morning .. he also had a follow-up appointment about meds with lung doc Thursday afternoon. Then this week Wednesday I have an appointment with Nerve doc .... then next week is packed.... Monday Chiro, Tuesday OBGYN, Wednesday we have to go to Nashville to pick up an at home sleep study for me.... and return it Thursday. Whew not looking forward to all that.....

Had Dinner with William this last week.... they are moving again :( .... this time He’s bought a house in Clarksville. Which is both good and bad news.... Good because buying a house bad because an hour and a half drive to visit him..... I told him that means we have to make bigger plans than just “dinner”..... It should all turn out okay.

Lastly..... I got called into HR Friday......For background, let me say..... I can’t do a ton at work without feeling sick and dizzy. The supervisor on weekdays (Kevin) was working with me and had put me on inspection everyday (where I could sit when I needed to). Moving back to the weekends I talked to Jerry and let him know what was up ..... he’d gone on about how he didn’t have a problem with it but he didn’t like putting me there everyday. I assured him it was fine but he asked about the restrictions that would keep me in inspection. I told him that I was honestly not completely aware of what they were except that I needed to be able to sit. He then stated that he was concerned because that means the only job in the whole plant I could do was inspection and he was afraid that would result in me losing my job. I said that I’m sure he can check my restrictions with HR and we can figure out what else I can do but that I know I’m okay in inspection and would like to stay there. I’d honestly walked away from that conversation confident he’d leave me in inspection BUT..... he did email HR..... and apparently HR does not have access to the FMLA paperwork I’d filled out.... so now I have to wait for an email and then have a conversation with a doctor to get them to write out that I need the option to sit when I get dizzy..... then.... well then I could be fired? .... I mean no.... because if that was said we’d be looking for an ADA lawyer.... because I’ve been working the last 8 months this way.... and just because HR is aware.... when I saw no need to involve them to begin with… now my job is in question..... I”m a wreck over it really.... but there’s nothing I can do about it right now..... I’ll bring it up to the docs attention Wednesday..... and hopefully she’ll agree to sign/write something about it for work if it comes up....

I think that’s it.... aside from watching so many actual talented people on Twitch making me feel like I don’t belong so much so that I haven’t been able to bring myself to do a damn stream....
