Casa Valentina in keeping it postive

This play dealt with a topic I knew close to nothing about: cross-dressing heterosexuals. The men wore dresses and make up ... as if they were standard housewives from the 1960's. These were NOT drag queens with super high heels, insane make up and flashy clothing.

A couple (husband and wife) had set up a resort in the Catskills (upstate NY) so that guys who get a kick out of dressing as women could go, spend a weekend as women. Some would go every weekend it was available, some less frequently. The play is based on real situations.

It was sweet, and funny, and sad.
