Perth back to Brissy! - 5/4/2004

Writing an entry when you're emotional is never a good idea, but then again it is - maybe the truth comes out more.  I've been thinking so much today (my last day of holidays), especailly about Micheal.  It's been so long since I've seen him now, and I think i'm having withdrawal symptoms or something - I dunno what it is, I know I miss him.  And I know I miss Sam too.  i can't believe i actually met him!  Perth was so awesome, i didn't want to leave there.  But I did miss Brisbane too much, so I'm glad I'm back here!  i went out clubbing Sunday night and it was totally packed out because of the public holiday on Monday.  I'd never been out on a Sunday before, but it was really fun!  i went by myself, as usual, which sucked, cos I can never find anyone who wants to go to a gay dance club with me.  I usually head in alone, and try to come home alone lol.  Gee Sunday I had like this gross 30-something year old bi-guy tell me i was cute and im like 'thanks' and took off as soon as he went to get a drink eerrrgh.  he actually asked me, when he came up to me, if i was straight or bi, and i laughed at him and said 'im gay!' haha.  Then i met this really nice 22 year old (well he said he was 22 but most gay guys lie about their age for some reason).  We talked for a fair while til the club closed, and he offered me a lift home, and i refused at first, but he insisted and so i agreed.  he seemed genuine and nice so it was cool.  His car was an '04 Holden Astra, and the power in it was unbelievable, i was thrown back in my seat.  i think he was trying to impress me.  Turns out he sells cars, so he knows a fair bit about them.  I told him i was seeing someone, and he knew that before he took me to my place, and he said it was cool.  He seemed very blokey.  i actually can't believe he was gay because I never would have guessed it if he hadnt have said it.  Anyway we exchanged numbers in case we wanna hang out again in future.  it was a change in the way that most people who seem interested in me at the club are younger than i am, and he was older, so it felt really different.  I dunno why, but I knew he seemed shy but he was edging his way closer and closer to be on the dancefloor, so i said 'hi, my names Matt' and he seemed to open up a bit.  Weird considering i'm usually the shy one, I guess I'm getting better around other people like me.  There were so many cute guys there on Sunday, but Micheal wasnt there because he was sick, but he's all i wanted to be there.  Ah well can't win all the time.  Speaking of winning, i went the the Wickham to play pokies to waste some time and turned $8 into $50!  Considering I'm not used to gambling it made me really happy!

I don't wanna go back to work tomorrow!  I have to get used to how everything works again!  Ah well wish me luck! :)  love yas!

Glad you had a good time man [TheBlindArcher] 5/4/2004 7:04:34 PM

Awwww, you went to the dance club and met someone. Thats exciting! Sadly, the only gay dance club I can get into at my age is closing on the 28th of May. It's kind of sad because now I have no where to go clubbing. I'm quite sad. But, I'm glad that you had a good time. Take care... ::hugs::

thanks 4 the note :D [ImAMunchkn] 5/5/2004 6:50:48 PM

Thank you for the note. Ummm, not I did not write that song. It was written by Anita baker in 1990 I believe. I really like that song though. A friend of mine has been going through some stuff with her girlfriend and she won't talk to me. She's my best friend and we usually talk to each other about everything. So, I put that song in there because it makes me think of her. Take care...

I'll go to a gay dance club with you! I'm straight and I'm a girl, but I LOVE dancing! Hopefully I'll get a chance to meet you while I'm over there. I'm glad you had a good time in Perth but it's always good to be home, huh? [Dulcinea] 5/10/2004 11:25:58 AM
