author: Daniel Silva

I really enjoy this author's books - all thrillers - especially the ones "starring" Gabriel Allon, an art restorer who's also an Israeli operative.

The themes are usually Jewish based: Holocaust, Arab saber rattling against Israel, Israeli history, etc.

There's always art, high tech spying, high body count (my least favorite element), world travel, tight situations, deadlines, good guys and bad guys. There's usually some sort of cooperation among the spy organizations of England, France, USA and Israel.

I've read 11 of his books... another one is in the mail to me, and another two are requested.
