Happenings in In the Kingdom of Suzu

My fil is in the hospital. In addition to his diabetes and attending issues with that, he has congestive heart failure. He has a clot in his heart and his heart is operating at only about 15%. Drs cannot operate thru his chest, he would not survive, so team of specialists are coming in to see if they can go thru his groin. He is in a hospital about an hour and a half away from where they live. He did not look good when we were down a month ago and we are very glad that we made the trip when we did.

In happier news, my son and his family left to see the mouse in Florida today. We took them to the airport----what a lot of stuff they had to take, so glad I do not have to fly with babies and little ones. Car seats, strollers-----I asked my dil why she did not rent those items and she said to rent two car seats for the week was more expensive than renting the car! Oh well, they are young and strong and can handle all that.
