I slept till two in the afternoon. Was having difficulty sleeping last night so I took two pills and zonked out hard. No wonder, I’ve been pretty damn busy all week. Ate a sandwich with some of the ham was baking and fell back asleep till almost five.

Easter Dinner was ham, cabbage, chicken dressing and sweet potato. Lawd did I feast. Ended up going to Wal-Mart and purchased seven pairs of cargo shorts. My wardrobe is very limited and needed an upgrade. This way I’ve got a few decent pair to go out in and a few for work. Oh, bought a black checkered buttoned down dress shirt as well.

Currently we’re on episode four of The Lost Pirate Kingdom. Mom loves it while I’m screwing around online, every now and then taking interest in some of the story.

Tomorrow morning I’ve got a zoom call with Dr. Gilbert to get my medication refilled. Only got two left and we all know how I get unmedicated. Very intense and unhinged.

Sleep will be crap tonight (thanks to the long sleep today) so I intend on gaming. Started Ghost Of Tsushima so I get to pretend I’m a samurai slicing folks up. I did get one of those one thousand dot to dot books a little while ago for distractions.

Drinking while Priming I’ve ordered…
1917 Blu Ray
Daymare 1998 (graphics and controls are effin’ horrible)
Farcry 5
Wolfenstein collection of four games.

I wanna say my drunk brain knew that sobriety was coming up and ordered the distractions for my own benefit…but it was more, “Hey, you just got paid, here’s my wishlist!”

Either way I have several things to keep me busy when the hands get idle and the thoughts turn to drinking. Even at Wal-Mart tonight I decided to go down the beer aisle. I wasn’t craving or anything, just thinking of how much cash I would fork out if I wanted to. Plus I was amazed at how empty the coolers were. It was a holiday and spending time with family does make one wanna drink.

Anyway. Thirty minutes from now marks fourteen days, or two weeks if you prefer, sober.
