I've started the 5:2 diet again. I did it before we went to Florida but I've put on about 7-9lb since we came back six months ago and have a bit of a podgy belly. I don't know what the actual amount is, I seem to weigh different amounts from one day or one week to the next, even though I weigh myself at the same time of day. Maybe it's something to with the time of month and I should only weigh myself once a month? Anyway, today I've had a low fat yoghurt, small apple, small bowl of homemade chicken and sweetcorn soup and a tuna salad. My next fast day is going to have to be Thursday as I don't like doing two in a row and we're going to the cinema on Wednesday so I have to have popcorn, it's the law.
My mouth guard arrived for roller derby! I haven't moulded it yet but it seems to go quite far back in my mouth and makes me feel like gagging. I'm sure I'll get used to it. Exciting!
We got a leaflet through our door today from UKIP. I feel dirty just having it in the house but apparently you can post it back to them at their own expense as they have a freepost address, so I'm definitely going to do that. There's a poster in the middle that they want you to display in your window saying "I'm voting UKIP, no more leaflets please." I think I'll cut out the "No more leaflets" part and stick it to the envelope :op
I found out today that, not only are they racist, they're also homophobic. They released a statement saying how marriage should be between a man and a woman, for ORDINARY people. Not two men or two women, but for REAL people. So, all you people out there who are marrying people of the same gender, you're EXTRAORDINARY and made of plastic or something.
They're pro-Monarchy, which I'm not.
They also don't believe in mad-made climate change and oppose renewable energy. OK, so even if mad-made climate change didn't exist, we would still need renewable energy, otherwise what happens when fossil fuels run out?
Basically, they're the exact opposite of my ideal political party. Load of eejits, I can't believe how popular they are.
I'm hungry, I'm looking forward to eating crisps and chocolate tomorrow.
