the day after our wedding, Bob and I were headed to Denver on our honeymoon. Much like this past weekend, there was a big snow storm. We made it from our hometown in northern Wyoming to Casper where we stopped to visit relatives and spend that night before entering the great unknown. (We were so naive’!) The next day, the roads were closed out of Casper. And the next. Finally, the highway on the east side of the Big Horn Mountains was open, so we changed our plans and headed north to Montana. We spent the rest of our special time in Billings–motel next to the stockyards!!! It was many years before we ever made it to Denver. And now, we have called it home for over 20 years. Time flies when you’re having fun!
