Yesterday and financials in Second 1st

I went to work yesterday and was caught by a co worker as I left the restroom before shift. Joyce asked about how Rocky was and if I was okay and we talked about the once a month shot I’m seeking. Apparently, she had migraines real bad when she was younger causing her to be out of work at least 3 times a month. I’m at 1-2 days a week. She’d taken the shot and didn’t have them at all .... she took it for 6 months and stopped and hasn’t had any to speak of since. I cried a tad at the hope.

Walked into the break room.... Kevin is out this whole weekend. Jerry asked if I was okay and I talked to him a bit resulting in me crying more :(. Went to work.... cried while working the whole first hour. Not ugly cry just that I could not get tears to stop. Where I was working (and where I work most of the time) I’m pretty isolated. I usually see my lead twice a day and they come if I need them. I think this is WHY thy put me over there.... I don’t need a babysitter. I had to call Brian to take off a waste barrel because I couldn’t get the lid on but I usually do that myself. He came right away to get it. I apologized and he laughed. Machines ran excellent yesterday.

My knee hurt so bad yesterday too. Like the cap was pointed in the wrong direction. It was horrible.

We line cleared early (4:15) and I got the machine ready for the next shift and hit the restroom. I do tend to put in a few moments in there at the end of the day. I don’t ask to go all day and usually go during breaks and when it comes to leaving 5 mins early I’m all about it but with the current situation 45 mins is to much. So I took my time with the cleaning and checked a few things on my phone while I was in the restroom. Left 15 mins early.

Something I checked on was a text of my account balance. I tried to get the latest transactions because it said $3000 something and a withdraw of 128.... I figured taxes came back. We are due roughly that much. I’d forgotten texts don’t send from the bathroom and moved on with my life.

Home, Rocky made a pork roast, potatoes and carrots. Grabbed me some and sat down for an episode of The 100. Apparently, I hadn’t seen the last 2 seasons and we are finally up to the point where I don’t know what’s going to happen. Dinner done going to lay down.... go over what’s left of my day on my phone.... games to catch up on, text messages about pallet stuff sales, and whatever.

Gott the transaction message and about freaked out. Rocky came to “tuck me in”..... it’s almost literal seriously he covers me, kisses me goodnight, shuts the lights off, makes sure my phones plugged in and tells me any last min things he may have missed. Almost a requirement at this point with so little real interaction. It also feels like a bit of an insult as “tucking me into bed” should mean something way more active.

Anyways.... so because of some confusion about the latest transactions I was wide awake again. Needing more info. Rocky tells me that the next set of stimulus was being sent out to those who used Direct deposit for taxes. $1400 each.... wait… what? I mean I’ve been busy with work and trying not to break… then on days when I’m home because I just can’t do it It’s all about MTurk, pallet stuff and what I need to get done to make this week easier. I really don’t have time to pay attention to whatever the government is doing.

So this turns into a financial update.....
Rocky hasn’t worked since August..... in 7 months (and only in the last 2) I’ve taken 1048 from the savings. The bill for the angioplasty came in 2073 and the CT scan he was successful at doing 477. Finishing off the chiro is 259, they take 43 a week and I want them out of my money soo bad.... I hate auto payments. Then we have car tags for all 3 vehicles. The van was up in Feb., his car this month, and mine next. 81.50x3. My car needs to go into the shop being as the heater went out last week (Rocky’s been calling our guy with no answer all week). So.... 4,102 (plus car repairs) will put us back to the point we were before Rocky quit/was unable to start new job. 2800 in covid relief and nearly another 3000 in taxes back in the next couple of weeks. What’s left over goes on the next loan and we are back to “normal” financially aside from Rocky not working.

I was excited after going over the numbers. Honestly even with the 3,000 back in taxes I was worried about the things that would go unpaid taking so long to pay because of him not working. I lay in bed not being able to sleep.... wanting to get things “done”. Check the Chiropractors hours to see when I could pay that.... just generally too happy to sleep?....

And my knee pain shooting to my hip whenever I moved. UGH how the hell did I do whatever I did.....

Tried to calm my mind.... did not work.... now I’m up .... was 3am when I woke. Brain is on fire. I’ve called out.... so dumb that I pushed in order to get that OT pay today and I can’t do it. Whatever, things are going to work out okay. I can go back to putting efforts toward the list of other things to pay off. $6367 on the pipes, then roughly 39,000 in student loans for Rocky.... then work on things we want before I quit.... as if all that is ever going to get done.... because the first 2 things are buy the strip of land next to our house (hopeful for $5,000) and build a 2-3 car garage mostly for pallet stuff and yard sales. Also, new windows on house and an electrical overhaul because I have no plugs in the bathroom and the plug on the back porch doesn’t work. I’m sure other things will come up before any of that is done.... like needing a new house heater unit.... but if Rocky’s not working we will have to sell this for something smaller anyways. .... or I will anyways.

We have talked about how being as I’m pretty able to keep us afloat with my pay alone that when he gets back to work his whole check (minus what he would need for the job the extra foods and gas) would go toward whatever loan we are currently working on. .... after this tax/relief bonus is spent the snowball will be up to 370 a month on that 6367 loan .... plus whatever extra I can make. As long as I can work.

Also, need to put back the pallet money that I’ve been using for the house. I’ve been letting that go to the house account and not moving it. Owe it about 400 right now from the current pallet I’m working on. He’d paid 1200 for it and at this point I think it will make that back so I’ll wait till it’s all listed at least before I think about putting that money back. This is currently lowest priority and will get paid back AFTER the 370 a month snowball threshold is met. Then when it’s put back .....

Plans.... they make me feel better.
