Quick update in The day to day

Got my first vaccine shot yesterday. My appointment was at 4 pm. I got there about 10 minutes early. It is at the fairgrounds here and you stay in your car the whole time. I finally got my shot at about 5:15. My next one is scheduled for April 6 at 5 pm. I’ll probably be there until 6:30! So far no side effects other than a sore arm and it’s a little red where the shot went in.

While I was waiting in the long line of cars for my shot, my mom called. She was catching up with me and then threw in, “Your dad would probably kill me if I said this, BUT I think you should ask the attorney on Thursday if your ex can pay half the attorney fee.” She said her and my brother are the mean ones and me and my dad are the nice ones. I mean I planned on asking that anyway, but honestly with child support and maintenance (alimony) payments he’s going to have to start paying he probably wouldn’t have the money. Although we are about to get another stimulus so maybe he will.

She also said that her and my dad have talked about my issue with the house. They said if they have to co-sign on a loan for me so I could keep it they would do that because they know I wouldn’t stiff them with the payments. Once child support and maintenance payments are set up my debt to income ratio should be fine enough to do it without them, but it’s nice to know that is an option if the bank tries to be difficult.

A went to his dad’s today. He was ready for him to pick him up early from daycare. But my ex did text awhile ago and say he’s not sure A wants to stay the night since B wasn’t there. He asked if he should make him stay. I told him A would probably end up being okay if he just wanted to keep him there. But that of course if he ends up really not wanting to stay he could bring him home to me. My ex seemed okay about B not coming today when he picked up A. He said maybe in a few weeks B will get bored and want to come over. He also mentioned they are looking for a house to rent. And that he has repeatedly told people (I’m assuming HER) that there needs to be a room for A and B for when they go over there. She keeps saying shouldn’t the younger two boys be put together, meaning her son and A. He said he has repeatedly said no to that and turned it down. So that’s good I suppose. The fact he’s sticking to it and that he thinks B will come around and start coming over again.

Anyway, thanks to everyone who has been checking on me and leaving notes. I appreciate it. I will update tomorrow after the attorney appointment with hopefully some good news!
