Notes from a fence sitter. in The odd entries from life …….

Portsmouth has had the better weather today, just a little rain first thing, afterwards my Sister and Brother-in-law spent three hours on the seafront; only going home when the Isle of White disappeared – no one lingers when the island goes! So my Sister has had a good day to celebrate a birthday, she had some presents from her Grandson and daughter-in-law, Grandson giving the gifts and opening them. Her elder son appeared latter on the computer; he’s away in Denver so they gathered partly on line!

My card and painting arrived to day, I posted them on Thursday and posting first class seems to work fine if we post forty eight hours ahead. Our weather was like Portsmouth’s at first thing, but never improved, it nearing five O clock now so I’ve finished outside for today, my few outings were quite active as it was best to keep running.

Tomorrow we may have a rerun the of last Sundays Dog Show, there is a forecast for some morning rain, so I shall go the honourable thing and wear my heavier water proof coat, doing that usual brings out the sun; but no always! So we shall see if we have one or two quiet days …..
