Pictures and a Simple Update in 2014

So On Wednesday when I called the office to check on why our dishwasher hadn't been fixed yet, I was told that they would do their best to get someone out that day. It's still broken, so I just called now and though the guy didn't say it (and he was the same one I talked to on Wednesday) it sounded like they don't even have a work order for me. Again he says they will try and get someone over today. If nothing happens today, I'm sending Scott into the office. Maybe they will take him more serious, and possibly be intimated by him.

Yesterday I woke up feeling sick, and had to keep Salem home from school because she had a fever that showed up out of nowhere the night before. No other symptoms other than a headache and dizziness. Her fever stayed over 102 all day, but she seems fine now and is at school. I still feel pretty crummy though.

I am at my wit's end with our dog. I seriously don't know what we are doing wrong. We have been crate training over the last couple of months, and while there has been vast improvements, there is still accidents, and things I seriously don't understand. Like every time he lays on his back to get his belly rubbed, he pees on you. Or yesterday when Scott got home, he sat on the couch and called him over to pet him. He peed all over his shoes. And my all time favorite is when I go to take him for a walk, and stop him at the door to put his leash on, he pees on himself and the floor. And how can I forget when after going for a walk, and he pees all over every bush in our complex, and doing his other business, he spends 10 minutes in the house before pooping again. Besides all of this, I also feel like my kids can't even play with toys, because he chews them. He murdered 3 of Ian's toys yesterday. And it's not like they are toys that are just sitting on the floor. They are toys that Ian is actively playing with. He'll run up and grab them off the floor when Ian sets them down. The next thing I know Ian is screaming and Buzz Lightyear is missing a hand. And, he isn't deprived of his own toys to chew either. He has plenty. In fact, in the course of him destroying Ian's toys yesterday, I gave him 3 different rawhides to gnaw on in an attempt to keep him away from the toys. Obviously it worked wonders. It's like he chews on everything except for what he is actually supposed to. I feel like we are failing miserably.

And now that I am done complaining about things, here are just a few pictures.
