Ordered more stuff. in A small but passable life.

The other part of my amazon order arrived yesterday. Days earlier than stated. Again. I ordered two more items. They are supposed to be delivered on Friday, the same day as my Sweetwater order.

The order that arrived yesterday was the new Moonster journal with the leather cover and cotton pages. Well, 80% recycled cotton content. And I got some eneloop rechargeable AA and AAA batteries. Those will be for my headlamp, Maglite, GPS receiver and my new AM,FM,SW radio. They were expensive, but claim to be rechargeable 2100 times and have a long shelf life when charged. I charged them completely one at a time last night with my new USB charger. It didn’t take long at all.

The two items I ordered last were a hand-cranked coffee grinder and a double-walled stainless steel French press.

It was sixty degrees at eight this morning. It is forecast to be eighty degrees today. If so it will be the first eighty degree day of the year.

I’m having a hard time cancelling the one credit card Mom had. I’m tempted to just cut it up and throw everything away that comes in the mail from the company. Now there’s a charge on the card from somewhere for $19.99 and the company says I’ll have to take care of that by paying or having it removed by that company before they can cancel the card. Never mind that the card should have been cancelled before that charge came out. Idiots.

Anyway, the “To do” and the “To buy” lists are mostly completed.
