I bought pens... in Journal

And why is this important, I hear you ask?
Well.
I love to write. Like. Absolutely love it. Pen on paper, the smooth silky line of ink left cleanly on a white paper. Unlined paper, of course, but college ruled is okay too.
The thing is, I’m so picky about pens, and after stores stopped carrying my favorite pen- I just sort of stopped writing. It’s just not the same. I mean. I can sort of will my way through with a cruddy pen. But I don’t want to write in the same way that I want to write when I have a decent pen.
Also. I’m poor. When I was a kid, it didn’t seem to matter so much. I didn’t have a budget. I just saved up however long it would take to buy the damn pens! However much they were (which was, indeed, expensive) I would pay it. But now… I have bills. I have a budget. I can’t really seem to justify spending money on myself like that… for what? A silly pen??
Well. It brings me joy. And I look around at the stupid ass shit people buy. You know what? I deserve nice things. I bought myself a dozen ultra fine point- not sure if they’re going to cut it, but they don’t seem to carry the micro points I used to get. I have a nice hardbound sketch book to fill.
So. I might not be typing out my thoughts so much, here.
It’s not like anyone finds them quite so interesting anyway.
