More stuff delivered. in A small but passable life.

My Amazon order was split up again and the watch arrived yesterday, two days after I ordered it. That’s why I don’t pay for prime. I believe there is a fulfillment center about ten miles west of here. The other part of my order should arrive earlier than stated also.

The watch is nice. And I can read the time without my reading glasses.

Daughter received the Osprey Renn women’s backpack I ordered for her from REI. It was her Christmas present that got sidelined while she was here at Christmas. I ordered the Aurora Purple. She really likes it. It is a 65L pack so she’ll be able to carry anything she wants until she’s able to upgrade her equipment list and lighten her load.

I forgot to mention in the last entry that we’d received one inch of rain with the two storms that passed through the valley. It was the first rain in a long time.

I believe the first Uber ride of February will be to the now legalized for rec users pot shop. I’ll try the Mint store first. I perused the web site and found two strains that looked interesting. Both sell for $120 for 1/2 ounce. Reading the reviews is kinda like listening to dream stories. Totally irrelevant to me. I’ll just ask my “bud tender” at the store if this will get me fucked up without knocking my ass out. I have no idea where I’ll find a small pipe with a wooden bowl, my preferred method of smoking. I guess I could ask.

The Mint website also says delivery is available after the first visit and an account is set up. Well hell! Will I ever have to leave home again?

Instacart for groceries and a drug dealer who delivers. And a pandemic for an excuse to not go out. Who could ask for more?

I also ordered the Yamaha FG800 Dreadnaught- Natural acoustic guitar and a hardcase for it from Sweetwater. $306 w/tax and free shipping. Should arrive on Wednesday.

So, the $600 stimulus payment has been spent. I went over by $86.88. Oops. I guess that was the watch. We’ll call that a Christmas present for myself.

I’d still like to buy the Roland GO:PIANO 88 key portable piano keyboard. It is the same price, $349, on amazon and Sweetwater so I’ll probably order from Sweetwater.

You may be wondering, but no, I’m not a musician or musically inclined. I just like to make noise.

It was 74 degrees today. Supposed to be 77 tomorrow.
