Daughter was here for a week. My oldest niece and her daughter were here for a few days. They got everything done that was needed to be done. One pick-up load to charity. One pick-up load went home with my niece and Daughter took two suitcases back on the plane with her and left 1/4 of Mom’s closet stacked with stuff to be retrieved later.

They cleaned out Mom’s half of this shed, which more than doubled my living space from 42 sq. ft. to 98 sq. ft. I disassembled Mom’s workbenches and built myself a desk. I think it turned out rather well. It is 2X5 for surface area and a proper 30 inches high. No drawers though. I’m pretty well done with drawers . The last time I owned anything that had drawers in it was 1989 (except for my old desk). I won’t need drawers in this desk because I’ve pretty well eliminated all the crap that used to fill the old desk.

Daughter left New Year’s Eve at 2pm. My niece took her to the airport. My niece and her daughter left at 10pm on New Year’s Eve. I was asleep by midnight.

I spent the first day of this year cleaning Mom’s trailer and getting everything arranged in its proper place. It didn’t take long. It is now ready for any visitors that show up.

I’ve spent the last couple of days sorting and rearranging things out here in the shed. I’m pretty well done except for some small stuff.

The $600 has landed in my account. I’m not sure what I’ll spend it on, but I will spend it.

Battleborn batteries are now $849 on Amazon, down from $995. One of those would be a good start to my future solar system. Batteries are always the weakest link in any system so buying the best on the market would be a good start, a foundation if you will.

Anyway, it sure is quiet around here.
