too old for this.... in Second 1st

Last night Rocky never came to bed. I woke and he was playing video games. Said “I never got tired”. He swore he was going to be up all day so I convinced him to go to Waffle House for breakfast. As of last night we have known each other 13 years. One thing we used to do was … stay up late and not be able to sleep for giggling about something stupid laying in bed. One of us would eventually say we were hungry and we’d go out to either WH or Steak n Shake. Something I severely miss about the old us. .... So early this morning (4am ish) we went out....

He made it till about 9:15 and will be sleeping all day.

Walked in at 9:20 and said “So that’s how long ya made it. We are too old for that game Rocky.” He said “You’re too old.” smh a year and 3 months and he won’t ever let me forget it ....

I’ve got a roast in the crock pot so IF he wakes up this evening there will be good food to be eaten.
