Hi there folks! Yes ,I hope you have all had a happy Easter as I have had and am STILL having! To me it heralds the approach of our winter and there has
already been a crisp change in the temperature! It also means attending church and buying Easter eggs for grandies! This year,I have had to lower my sending and
the kids seem just as happy!IWe are going to my eldest daughter Janet's for an Easter visit and to check on my young grandson I attanded Church yesterda,Jimmy (9) who has endured two
surgeries and 3 weeks of abcesses and dressings for anal perineal fistulas.I am really hoping he makes a rapid recovery now.Altho he may now be suscetptible
to further fistulas aas it appears there is a tendency to be chronic here.He has been such a brave young man as it is not only painful; it is also very embarssing
for a young boy.
I also attended Church yesterday of course and was doing the first reading. The church was packed, outside as well as inside with many outside
on the bank and in the outside seating as the atrium filled up quickly and the church was packed out with people seated behind the altar and 20 odd children on the
floor around the altar! Now,I have a powerful speaking voice at the best of times.I had to increase my volume and project my voice to outside!Apparently it
worked!I LOVED it!It was a BIG reading as well,so was well pleased with the result. My only concern was that I might have damaged to delicate hearing of the
children around me!!I do hope not!I did the 'meet and greet' as well and the mood of the congregation was wonderfully upbeat and joyful and I got lots of hugs
and kisses!(A bonus!)Altogether,at a rough estimate there were 250-300 people!Wow!!One of our Franciscan priests,Father Bernie officiated and he is bouncy
and very engaging and certainly everyone responded to that! The service incorporated a baptism as well with a beautifully behaved 18mth old little girl!Just added
to the total celebratory vibe of Christs resurrection and Easter itself!Came home feeling hapy and loved.Which was great for me, as I had spent the pre-Easter week
enduring cynical, nasty remarks about Christianity and was finally driven to defending my faith verbally and I am so glad I did. There is a move developed at criticising
all Christian and especially Roman Catholic religion, and yesterday restored my faith and belief.
I was worried for my dear friend 'Curious Gypsy Spirit' yesterday when she had an intruder in the middle of Saturday night.Thank
God he couldn't get into her house! It definitely dents your feelings of security and your faith in human nature. As we age, we become more sensitive to these
violations which are harder to get over.I guess the policeman who came around to her was probably having a bad night of it,as it was along weekend with a huge amount
visitors with a Jazz Festival on as well.Drunks everywhere! And I am pretty sure it would have been a drunk! However, dear Polz slept well last night and goes to be with
her daughter Rachel on Wednesday in Christchurch.Love you to bits dear Polly!xx
I am well and happy and enjoying life.I have adopted a 'Love What You Have' attitude and it is working! There have been many sad
events lately ,both nationally and internationally.I remember those affected in my prayers always, and am so grateful for what I have.
Lots of love and be kind to each other,
God Bless,
Majimazexxxxxxxx

I still reckon it would be okay if you wrote into word and then did copy/paste into your entry. Its so simple and I never have a problem with it. Sorry haven't been around to help you sort the problem, will do so when I get back from Chch if you've not done beforehand. Perhaps Penny can show you. Hugs and love, will call you later. p x

Happy Easter! I love your entry, gremlins and all! :) Glad you had a nice day! Ours was low-key, and I ended up skipping mass, but it was still nice being together and sharing an Easter meal. There was a basket for each of us, too. That was fun. :)

I wondered if it might have been a lost drunk trying to get in, but it doesn't help the sense of security.
Happy Easter.
