I am still fooling around here with size and placement of photos. The border thing is super time consuming if I do a custom border and don't use a photobucket template. Once again I am interested in the shapes and textures and colors in this photo. The cat is a stranger. But she looks like a sweetie.

When I started Weight Watchers I wanted to be realistic about how much weight I could lose and then maintain the weight loss. So I started out with a goal weight of 141 lbs because that is what is considered the top of the healthy range for a woman the size I used to be.

But then I found out I had shrunk an inch. So the normal weight range high for the height I actually am is 137. Okay. But then as I started getting closer to 137 I thought, what the heck, go for 132. That would mean in the mornings before breakfast sans clothing I could weigh in at 129 and that would be cool.

I hit 132 last October and then I very moderately kept losing until I got to 125 early last December. And that is where I have been since. Consistently. 125. Maybe a little below. I kind of like having that goal weight cushion of 7 lbs but last night my leader had a frank talk with me about that.

She said if you start gaining and put on 7 lbs it might be hard to stay there and then you will be struggling. She said they like the goal weight to be within 2 lbs of what you can comfortably maintain.

So she changed my goal to 125 last night. Wow! It is all about accountability. This is with your clothes on. Not your shoes but your clothes. I can do this, I have been doing it for 5 months. But it is sobering to think I will keep on doing this.

I love the idea though.

Just like I love the glarey sunlight out there after a long steady rain.
