Spiritual Deficit in Spiritual Journey

Not everyone is going to make it. They’re not going to awaken and grow into themselves and become fulfilled. Not everyone will become enlightened. We’re just going to have to move forward without them. We can’t heal those who are not ready to be healed. We can’t enlighten those who don’t want to know what can be known. There is no shortcut for those who still identify too much with their ego. The ego being a tool, a radar. Without it, we would be feral. It is not a beast to be slain, it is a beast to be tamed. The best we can do is become our authentic selves and hope it adds value to enough of them. We can’t wake the sheep so we will just have to try and wake the lions. We do this by no longer coddling the minds of the masses. I can see these sleeping giants soul searching and just scratching at the surface. They are close to their breakthrough or another breakdown but they need a push. They need to be shocked awake.

The nature of our desire is expansion. We want to grow into ourselves but we are looking outward to do so. This is why nothing ever feels like enough. Not those hookups, those relationships, those promotions, that bank account, those drugs, that drink, that affair, that purchase, that meal, those likes, those subscribers. We are chasing our tales because enough is never enough. There is always a missing piece that makes us want more. This is why I say that society has such a spiritual deficit. We are failing to innerstand that happiness and wellness is an inside job. We are identifying with things that are not us and that is making our lives more difficult and it is creating the unwellness we keep experiencing. We have forgotten who we are.

I will give you what no eye has seen and what no ear has heard and what no hand has touched and what has not entered into the heart of man. - Jesus, the gospel of Thomas. That is the self. To know thyself. We are not genders, we have genders, We are not sexualities, we have sexualities. We are not ethnicities, we have ethnicities. We are not our bodies. Neither are we politics, religions or legacies. We are not our minds. We are not sad, we have sadness, we are not afraid, we have fear. We are not even our emotions. We are just an individual consciousness or soul having a temporary experience. That is the revelation we are meant to have.

I am not who you think I am; I am not who I think I am; I am who I think you think I am. - Thomas Cooley. We are a perception of a perception of ourselves. We are reflecting back what we think society wants us to be. It has been the job of mystics across history and culture to wake you up to this. To connect you to your authentic self so you can stop identifying with things that are not you. To bring you from unawareness to awareness. We need to understand the true meaning of personal responsibility which is simply just the ability to respond. Your capacity to respond is finite but your ability to respond is not. You can participate with these identities but you don’t belong to them. You are bigger than them. You are divine, you are power, you are connected to source, to god. There is no consciousness without something to be conscious of. There is no light without something to reflect on. We are an image of that light. That source. We are made in God’s image. That consciousness within you, that divine spark is God or source. That is the revelation that Jesus brought to us in the Gnostic teachings. Immortality is not earned, it’s already yours. The kingdom of God is not outside you, it’s within you. We have the power to create, to manifest and to speak things into existence. This is why our hearts and minds need to be pure and not polluted with hate and fear. I am that, I am is what we manifest. I am whole and holy, I am.

We are born into an agreement in which we all agree to believe that this matrix is real. Stars do not exist as constellations in the sky, constellations exist only in our concepts. Most of what we think is real exists only in our concepts. We identify with them but we do not belong to them. We agree to believe in currency, law and borders etc. None of that exists in the cosmos, just in our minds. We identify with these and it has been the job of mystics across history and culture to bring you to the revelation that this too is not real. We have created too many polarizing concepts in which the two ends can never meet and that fractured version of reality is stopping us from becoming whole and holy. The cosmos did not create something separate from itself. We are the cosmos realizing itself. Everything is connected, everything is one, everything is whole. We need only look inward to see that. The only way out is in. Enlightenment is not an awakening it is a homecoming. This spirit quest is only an eighteen-inch journey of connecting your head to your heart.

When you need food you feel hunger. When you need water you feel thirst. When you need to grow you feel stuck. We are not stuck, however. We are just committed to a certain pattern of behaviour that is no longer serving us. We are applying an old formula to a new level of consciousness. We have the capacity to commit to a new pattern, to connect to a new perspective. It’s simple, but not easy. We want the world to change but the revolution humanity needs is only one that can be internalized. It is not one that will be televised.

To bring humanity to a higher consciousness we need to dispel darkness by shedding light on this false self and false reality. Humanity is in the spiritual dark ages and we are emotionally and mentally hijacked by darker forces. We are identifying with things that are not real. We are in the middle of a spiritual war that is pinning us against each other. We are being separated by creed, caste and race but humanity is starting to wake up. This matrix is about to be torn apart and humanity will either become enslaved by the dark forces or be delivered into the new age of enlightenment. We are meant to operate on a higher level of consciousness. On love and hope, not on hate and fear. The world is less corrupt and less dark when one person is willing to speak the truth. When one person is willing to not be afraid. We need to grow into ourselves so we can carry that burden. This is our cross to bear. The lightworkers. We have to put ourselves in harm’s way and speak truth into existence. To induce enlightenment because humanity is asleep. Their news is fake, their food is fake, their identities are fake, their world is fake and this ignorance is being weaponized to divide and control us. Anyone out there telling this truth is a lightworker. They are dispelling darkness by shedding light. That is how we will restore Dharma and that is why society has a visceral reaction to the truth. They don’t want their beliefs challenged but they have to be challenged. Their inability to interchange between different perspectives is why I call this the spiritual dark ages. Humanity needs a spiritual revolution so we can raise our consciousness. Spiritualty just being the world of the unseen, the inner world of our thoughts and emotions. Humanity is stuck and we need to raise our consciousness. We need to raise it fast.
