26: Did you learn a new skill/hobby or brush up on something during quarantine?
Actually, I did!
I learned how to do some minor wire-wrapping. I learned how to make stone cages for gemstones…but not from metal. I forget what it’s called, but I used cording. I forget the terms. But, I was able to make some pendants with them and sell them.
I also brushed up on reading for pleasure. I can’t remember the last time I read without it being something I NEEDED to do.
I originally had a challenge for myself to finish a non-fiction book a month on my Day Zero Project, but then I was on Pinterest and saw there was a “Classics” challenge. This was to read 25 of the classic books, with some guidelines of what is considered a “classic”. So, I made it through “The Count of Monte Cristo”, and I’m about done with “The Divine Comedy” right now. I’m slowly getting there.
I will also be updating my “Mission 101”. Well, postponing some of it. I can’t exactly travel much right now with the world being shut down. But still, I can swap out of some of the things I have with other things I’ve accomplished.
