For some reason, I am seeing a lot of Facebook posts today about “Women, don’t let your man treat you bad.” Or “Why ain’t there men with emotional intelligence?” Or “How hard is it for a man to keep a job?”

And I’m like… WHAT?!

I know I am not supposed to be taking any of that in. These are just women that I know having issues with men and that is as far as that goes.

But it does get to me. Because it is hard to hear all of these complaints being able to check off my qualities.
Why can’t I get a man with good taste?
Done. Right here.
Why can’t I ever find a man that can keep a job?
Done. Right here.
Why can’t I find a man in-touch with his emotions?
Done. Right here.
Why do I always date men who treat me bad?
Right here, know how to treat a woman!
I hate how my man don’t treat my kids good.
Rargh!

Honestly… I know. I know, I know, I know.
But it is annoying. Bothersome. Frustrating. Maybe I’m not the best looking or the most interesting man in the world … but I’m stable, caring, intelligent, emotionally self aware, open minded, good with kids, generous… and available. But whatever. Whatever. I’ll just accept that being a stable caring adult isn’t an attractive quality in a man.
