No, I guess not. With OD I could just click on the 'photo' icon in the tool bar, I could then 'browse', locate photo, click on it and it would come up and I could then click it into my diary page. This box wants a hyperlink and I have no idea what in the world that is. There is no 'help' I can find to access so...
No photos of the new cat. His name was Fiddler at the animal rescue but that did not suit him at all. Nothing did, no matter what I tried, so husband began calling him "Bud" and by default, that is his name.
He arrived last Tuesday by air. He is 4 months old, black and white, white whiskers on a black face, and white socks with some white on belly. He has two gray tuffs behind his ears that are thicker than the rest of his ears and look 'odd' somehow.
He is VERY vocal. He talks all the time, well not when he is asleep. But whenever one of us gets up and moves, he starts meowing and walks around yelling and flipping his long tail back and forth almost violently. He has already learned not to use his claws but does use his paws to stretch up to get attention
Copy cat took quick exception to him, hissing and keeping up a continuous growling while keeping her distance. Bud ignored her, concentrating on the humans. By the second day, Copy was a wee bit miffed at being ignored and began to approach Bud, making certain that he understood she still didn't like him.
By the third day, Copy was walking around HER home while Bud tried to approach her to make friends. Copy would hiss, growl and slap him. He would lay down immediately, not look at her and wait for her next move. He did this every time she was ugly to him. Not an aggressive bone in his body I guess... letting Copy be who she is, showing no threat to Copy, and well, the rest is history.
Bud is very playful, loves all the toys, and now, not a week later, they are best buds. Copy has been wrestling Bud down to lick him--evidently his hygiene isn't up to her standards. They also chase each other, play one on each side of a sheet that hangs from the futon. So, seven days, friends for life.
Lou dog is fine with Bud and Bud is fine with him. Daisy is another story. She and Bud got into it when Daisy rushed at Bud. No one got hurt, no blood drawn, but a very ugly confrontation. Now I have to watch Daisy. At least once a day she gets that bird-dog-pointing-at-a-bird total concentration look on her face and I know it is time to quickly get her attention to break that deadly stare.
Blouse is finished, I have photos. Posted on my facebook page is photos of the blouse as well as Bud. Or, maybe not posted, but in untitled photo album. I really screwed up putting photos there too, put them on a group page when I thought I was putting them on my photos in FB. Sigh.
The town is beginning to fill up with seasonals for the summer. I will go to work Monday for a while to consult with Heath and Jamie, make plans and arrangements for office and procedures. Season begins May 3 I think with first ship.
The eclipse of the moon was interesting. The moon finally rose over the east mountain at 11:46, about 30 minutes into the total eclipse. Was able to barely see the red moon, hazy a bit here, but was able to see the eclipse wane as the moon rose quickly thereafter.
All is well here, well, except for figuring out how to post photos here.... Blessed be!

I know the photos can't be impossble but I have yet to do them here on PB. I messed up some on FB the other day and ended up posting all that were on my phone rather than just the two I intended to share of grandbaby's birthday. Oh well. I think maybe if I used PB more often at home or from the phone I would have different experiences with photos but with the work firewalls I cannot even see most photos shared by others so I don't try very hard. I loved the stories of Bud and the other pets. Our newest and youngest cat is the only male pet so while we were thinking of a name for him, Elizabeth and I kept calling him Mister and that stuck. He even comes out of hiding when we call his name in the certain register (he'd probably come for anything but we tell ourselves he's coming to his name). I've decided he's a bit of a bully to the old lady cats, but have caught one of them playing with him on several occasions. Yesterday I saw him climb to the top shelf of a bookcase and get into a basket so I took a picture of the tips of his ears for Elizabeth to see her "basket cat" that she can't take to her apartment that does not allow pets.

It sounds like the missing link for you on the photos is that you need to post them on a photo hosting site online and can't just upload from your computer as you can do on Facebook. So Photobucket or Flickr, someplace like that. Then you just copy the direct link into the box here. Easy. :)
Welcome Bud! It sounds like he is going to be a big sweetie once he settles in and Daisy lets her guard down.
Happy happy last two weeks before the new season starts.

I just refused to rewrite my whole entry today, so the coding is just hanging out everywhere. Saw it all on the facebook page. Bud is a cuties. Off to the spring roundup here. Hugs.
