To The Left And Down The Middle in Hello

The shifts are twelve hours, nights of course.
One week I’ll work Mon - Tue, off Wed and Thu then work Fri - Sun.
Next will be Off Mon - Tue, work Wed - Thu then have a three day weekend.

The hours are long and the work monotonous but it’s a paycheck and it is really easy to do. That and the breaks in the middle of the weeks are nice.

Yesterday my sleep was fucked.
Today we went to Fayetteville, TN for the Host of Christmas Past around the town square. Due to Covid…well, not much was out there. The two high schools that have foods and crafts for sale didn’t participate.

For once I don’t have the feeling of dread as Sunday approaches. At the last job I’d have to go into work that night as a beginning to another six day work week. This…it’s different and I kinda dig it.
