Lazy Day Rambles in Days of My Destiny

I have had THE. LAZIEST. day today.

Of the 6 or 7 things I had to cross off my list, I've done HALF of one.

I should be ashamed of myself but meh. I'm not.

Battle PT tonight - L is coming! I love that he's willing to give this a go (even if only once), but I'm also really worried that it's going to beat the crap out of him and he'll be tired as anything tomorrow. He's on day shift at the moment, which is the shift with the longer hours (because he then gets the Friday off). So.. yeah... we'll see how he goes. I told him this morning that there'll be guys AND girls there and to not feel like he has to tag along behind me all night. Just in case, lol. I mean, I totally don't mind if we do SOME things together, but it's MY thing, so I don't want to suddenly be in a Love Bubble just because he's there, you know what I mean? Lol. I'm so mean. It SOUNDS mean, but he wasn't worried. I mean hello, we've been together 9 years.

He has ALWAYS loved that I say exactly what's on my mind. Sometimes it gets me into trouble because I don't actually sugar-coat things, so sometimes things sound harsher than they need to. But he says he prefers it that way anyway. He says that it keeps him grounded.

A mate of his suggested that we go on The Block together (reality tv series) and I thought this would be a GREAT idea, an awesome chance at ... not much, haha. I'd do it for the experience. I can so see us be all entertaining on that show. Him, ever patient and having the know-how, and me, jumping to conclusions, freaking out, being impatient, saying exactly what's on my mind... and not much else, not bringing any know-how at all whatsoever to the table. LOL. I think it would also be cool for our wider circle of friends to see how him and I work together and interact. It's something they don't actually see. But the kids are little and for them, it's just not worth it. We'd have to be away from them for 12 weeks. Stuff that.

On another note, I love that I constantly talk to my daughters in random accents. Part of our own little family quirkiness, lol. M's reaching an age now where she does it too. HAHAHAHA. So funny! Or she'll break into dance or song randomly like I do. LMAO.
