So I need to come up with a name for my company. If I'm going full time in four months I need to start putting things together; get myself registered with HMRC, get the marketing planned and ready to roll etc. So I need a name. I'm mainly going to be doing dog walking and pet sitting, so something that revolves around that.
At the moment I'm using Safe And Hound Midlands (Safe and Hound has already been nabbed) but it's too long and clunky. I want something short and snappy and it's obvious what I do. Jay thinks I should have a clever name like Safe and Hound, but I reckon it would be better if I had a simple, self explanatory name, like Michelle's Pet Services (which has also already been taken, as has Michelle's Pet Care Services. Michelle's Furry Friend Care seems to be available...). Also, we came up with a massive list of clever puns but they were ALL already taken, we couldn't find one that someone else hasn't already thought of.
What do you all think? If you were looking for a dog walker or a pet sitter, what sort of name would you like them to have?
Jay made a yummy dinner last night. Haggis lasagne (yes, really!) with garlic ciabatta and fresh salad. It was delicious, I'll have to see if I can find a vegetarian haggis anywhere and get him to make lasagne with one of those.
Bored at work again. It's looking very likely that our admin lady in Maidstone is going to be made redundant because they're closing down the office there. So annoying, I wish they'd make me redundant instead as I want to leave and she doesn't, but this is the main office and they can't expect her to travel to Birmingham from Maidstone. Gr.
