Prom in In the Meadow

Prom Night seems to have gone well. There was a dinner and presentation. There were several speakers and a movie about the class. Since the whole class wasn’t together at graduation, this was an opportunity for them to all be together and celebrate their accomplishments.

Afterwards, there was a socially-distanced after party. They actually did have outdoor, socially-distanced dancing. There were also outdoor games and snacks. The dinner started at seven. They called to be picked up just after midnight.

Kayla had blue shoes with a low heel and a silver necklace to go with her blue dress. The girls took off their shoes for the dancing part.

Even though it wasn’t quite a typical prom, I’m glad they had the opportunity to go. It will hopefully be something to look back fondly on when they are older.
