Sand dunes in Bittersweet

We went to some sand dunes yesterday. Its a national park. In the middle of bumfuck prairie is HUGE sand dunes. At first we were all meh. Hundreds of people. Then i saw an “primitive road” Ie trail and we took that and found an oasis! A stream along side the sand dunes. NO people. We let the dogs off the leashes, They were running up and down the dunes lik ewith the kids. Kids were sliding down the dunes like a sledding hill. We all walked up and down the river for 3 hours. It was an amazing outing that we needed so much! Im still stressing over the possible call to CPS. But as it would come back down on their heads if they called, seeing i didnt do anything wrong and they did. Im hoping that nothing comes of it.

On the house front, we did our “final walk through” and they turned off the electricity so we couldent make sure that the power outlets that didnt work, worked, OR that the AC was fixed AND they didnt fix the ducting which was in the fix it report that HE accepted. Ahhh. So here we are praying that we can still close this week! The realtor dosent think its going to delay. I really hope so. Im SO ready!

My mom is wanting to go downstairs and start cleaning my sisters room. We left it airing out, it smells rank and its thrashed. She said she would come clean it. but my mother says she wont. And if we clean it out. B can sleep in a room instead of the living room. He could go downstairs and sleep with his brothers but we havent moved his bed down there. I think he would like the bedroom. The bathroom is horrific. They havent cleaned it in MONTHS. Maybe longer. Like gag me disgusting. The shower and sink are filled with towels, wet towels, The floors have trash and gunk built up. We are just standing there looking at it thinking we need gloves and bleach. LOTS of bleach. How the heck can they have their own bathroom, only them two, and it be THAT bad. Cant lie. I dont want to get in there. But im not going to have the kids do it either. Mom went and got in the shower. Im going to go to the gas station and get a fountain pepsi and then wake my kiddos up. See what we want to do… see what we need to do. We can technically do nothing, But that room is so god awful omg. Maybe we clean the main room and leave the bathroom for them to come back and clean lol. I wish. But its terrible. And we arent in the habit of leaving spaces looking THAT nasty. Yes stuff gets messy with well now only 10 people lol. But still there is messy and there is disgusting. No wonder we cant get rid of the ants. I picked up a dozen dishes out of there when we went in to see the damage.... ugh.

Just grant me grace to deal with this crazy situation. And hopefully peace with our new house soon.
