Our turn in At the foot of the hill

April snow this morning. Heavy, wet, messy. We can sure use the moisture so we should be happy for it, but being human, we groan and complain. I am hoping that somebody will call me from the Thursday Bridge club and say we aren't playing today.... They say it will be beautiful for the first Rockies (baseball) game at home tomorrow. I hope they play better than they did on opening day in Miami. That was just embarrassing.... I have done nothing all week. Absolutely nothing. No crocheting. No reading. No writing. Spring Fever? Maybe.... We did have company Monday--that was great--and I made it to writing class Tuesday, but skipped Bible Study.... I see my calendar is full for next week, including my annual visit to my cardiologist.... My 99-year-old uncle passed on Sunday night. There will be no service just now. A memorial will take place in the summer when travel conditions are more reliable for the family on both coasts.... So sad about the Fort Hood "incident". What a world we live in. All I can do is say a prayer for the families of those who were killed or wounded and all the others there who have to be affected at least mentally....
