So...Much...Work. in Tales of Employment.

Well, I have been working a lot. And I'll be damned if I am not one of their most valuable employees. I've only been here a short time, and I am already being leaned on. I'm the first to be offered extra hours. If they are behind or need something done, I am who they turn to. So that task gets added to my responsibilities already. I am used all over the store. Far more than other people.
I got a strange schedule assignment for next week. A bunch of 6 am/9am Market days. In talking to one of my co-workers they mentioned how that could be them looking to give me Gary's job. A guy named Gary quit awhile ago, and I didn't realize he had a higher job. He was sort of in charge of the market/freezers/coolers type deal. Apparently they offered that to my co-worker, and he turned it down because he wasn't looking to move up in the company, and so if it is some sort of weird promotion or something...Sure. I'm game. Another suggestion that that may be the case is that they JUST now decided to show me how to basically defect items out on the pda instead of taking it up front. It's odd. Potentially good? Maybe? I mean. I am not really looking to move up in the company. This is overall temporary for me, until I can be back with dogs. That being said, if I get paid more....shiiiit I don't think I will deny it. I mean depending on what the responsibilities are and the shifts. Since I have to be flexible both with work and family.
Anyway. I am a damn good worker, and it's possible it could be something for the time being, and I don't write as often as I should so there's the employment update.

Hey, a promotion means they noticed you're a badass. TAKE IT. I know it won't be forever and you want to be back with furr babies. But for now. ... Props.
