Looting is not protesting.
Destruction and setting things on fire is not protesting.
No protesters were ever killed by looters.
No looters were killed by protesters.
Only killers in this piece are police officers.

People need to dismantle preconceived notions about black people.
People need to not see us as the threat society has made us out to be.

We have families, loved ones we have to make it back to as well.

We die for simple traffic stops.

We sit in our car, both hands on the wheel. You approach my ride with your gun drawn or hand on your gun ready to shoot. Lord take my soul if we jump or recoil because of this. Instant death sentence.

Imagine walking around with this on your back for all of your life. We can’t get away with shit. We can’t get invited because of your generational notions.

Imagine if everytime the police man handled you, choked you out, put a knee on your neck, busted wrongly into your house and shot you, imagine just how angry you would be. You don’t want to hurt anyone else but you ARE hurting. So you tell. You talk.
