Does It Matter? in Thirty-Five

This might be long, please bear with me.
I’ll say this once, if you support the killing of any and all LOE due to the circumstances and are part of the ACAB “movement” then you can go and get fucked. You can’t claim to support Black Lives Matter or All Lives Matter if you feel that All Cops Are Bad and must be treated as such.
I haven’t said much during all of this, because I don’t know what to say. Having dealt with racism my whole life, to my face and behind my back, I am aware of what it is like.
I have, however, never feared for my life due to law enforcement. I’ve only ever had one or two run ins with the police, where I actually was directly involved in the process of having the police called.
The one incident I remember the most was when Randy and I first moved out here to PR. We were going to Safeway on Twin Peaks, we were in my parents car that had New Mexico license plates on it. I saw flashing lights behind me and thought it was a cop, thought I was speeding.
I pulled over and this truck with guns blazing on its back window blew past me. So I got back in traffic behind him and he started slowing down in front of me on purpose.
We both pulled into the Safeway parking lot. He cut me off, flipped me off and kept going. At that point Randy flew out of the car, towards the guy. I tried to park and the guy blocked me from doing so, so at that point i was PISSED.
I parked and got out with my guns blazing too. Guy was on oxygen in his truck, spewing nonsense about how slow I was going (40 in a 45) and how we needed to “go back to NM where we belong”.
The moment he said “get the fuck out of here before I get really mad” was when I lost my cool and wanted to fight. But I went into the store instead.
10 minutes later an employee comes and finds us to ask if we had gotten into a shouting match in the parking lot and if they wanted us to call the cops.
They came shortly after and you know what they said?
“Oh yeah, we know who he is, hes always causing trouble”.
So what happens after that? This guy has been known to run people off the road and/or stop suddenly in front of people. He has threatened to shoot people, etc. But he is still out there doing whatever he wants.
I can guarantee if I or anyone of my family members would have taken it any further and even breathed on that man, we would have been arrested.
Do I feel like the police officer was racist? No. Unfortunately, most of the time, they won’t even bother with these old white folks because they will sue the dickens off the police. Especially people like this guy.
And please don’t attack me for posting this, I’m just explaining my views. I get that there are A LOT of bad cops. I get that there are a lot of lives that have been lost due to the mentality of these bad cops. I get that when other cops don’t report the bad ones that that creates an environment of tolerance for this type of thing.
THAT is not lost on me. I Stand With You.
In any instance, for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. I’m glad the voices that need to be heard are being heard right now in a roar. This is what needs to happen.
All I want, as a person, is for as many remaining lives to be spared. Especially those that are innocent. We are all standing behind these innocent men and women who lost their lives to THOSE bad cops.
Let’s not condemn the rest of the officers because they chose to wear the uniform.
If this doesn’t fit in with your narrative, feel free to delete me. I promise I won’t be hurt. I just refuse to support anyone who feels that killing someone based on their association with a certain group is ok.
The answer is, IT SHOULD!
