Spring? in A small but passable life.

I guess it has been a week.

Last Sunday thru Tuesday afternoons I spent over at the student union. Tuesday Angela found me over there. She had just returned from her spring break at Disney World. She said it was great.

Wednesday and Thursday I spent in the van with the book. I finished "The Master and Margarita" by Mikhail Bulgakov Thursday.

Friday morning I walked to the library to return the book. I perused the shelves and found nothing. I walked on to the post office to check the mail. I walked on to the main library to peruse the shelves. I found nothing.

I spent the rest of Friday, Saturday and today reading Walt Whitman on the kindle in the van. I did go over to the university library this afternoon for a shave, shampoo and wash-up. Always nice.

I've found and ordered a couple of books to place on my hold list at the library. They may show up tomorrow or the next day. All I have to do is wait for an email.

I've read seven books for the month of March and twenty-two for the year so far. I'm a little ahead of my goals so I went ahead and ordered the next in "The Wheel of Time" series. That'll slow me down a bit.

I've watched the two Hobbit movies on megashare.info. It's been probably forty years since I've read the books, but I did remember some of it.

A couple more weeks of warm weather and I'll be ready to wash my one load of wash for Spring. The washer won't be as stuffed as the Winter load was and I'll use Jassy's homemade laundry soap so it should come out pretty clean.

I do need to wash the sheet I've slept on the last two summers without washing. It's a black sheet and you can see the salt stains from sweat on it. Pretty gross. Right now it is all balled up at the foot of my bed.

I called Mom this morning. She sounded good. We got all caught up on family happenings.

I finally got thru to Deb. She called me this afternoon. Her house is still a gypsy camp. And she's still working a lot of overtime hours.

Jassy called tonight. She was on break at work. She said she may be here on the 15th of April. Nikki's baby shower is this Sunday, but she'll have to miss it. She still hasn't got to see Rachel's baby girl Charley yet. So yeah, when she does make it this way she'll be as rushed as she always seems to be. We still have good visits though. Always.

So yeah, Spring has sprung and it is a good thing. The van warmed up to 82 degrees today with two windows open. Perfect.
