I’m struggling to find my words today. I cried the hardest I have in a really long time yesterday.
Four years ago, I went to sleep, after seeing my mom begrudgingly eat an orange slice with an “are you happy?” look on her face. She shooed me, my dad and (my cousin) Lisa out of her room and told us to get dinner and she’d see us in the morning.
My mom left us early that following morning. I was lucky enough to hold her hand as she drew her last breaths, with her family praying over her, as she most certainly would have wanted. That’s not something I will ever forget.
Some morning, hopefully far in the distance, I’ll be able to see her again and ask her how her night was. Until then, I love you and miss you more than anything, Mom.
I appreciate you visiting, and sending me signs (please stay out of the sewing machine though, thanks! lol)
Oh, and pray for us. We need it. ♥️♥️♥️
