Welcome To The Planet in Thirty-Five

Hey everyone how are we all doing this evening? I’m kinda just resting here listening to some music and hanging out in the computer room. Randy is playing Far Cry 5 or something like that? I dunno lol.

This last week or so has been like wtf. We really haven’t done a dang thing for the last two weeks other than here at home. grocery shopping and a few errands. we got Moss for the PSVR and I played that for a while the other day. its a lot of fun and so crazy to be right in the middle of everything. i love it.

i also got crafty and sewed a ton of hammocks for the rats. not as difficult as I had originally thought. plus it helps when you have the right tools lol. i bought a cutting mat with a hard and wide straight edge ruler and a cutting wheel. saves my hand sooooo much when it comes to cutting the fleece. and i can cut all the layers in one go! rattos are happy!

my dad came out last Thursday. our house looked like a tornado hit it. we were in the middle of finishing up the living room “remodel” lol. we bought a new entertainment center on one of our errand days. looks soo much better now. no clutter everywhere.

but we had boxes everywhere too because we spent a bunch of money on stuff from amazon and it had all arrived in the previous week lol. so there was that. and it was just trashed. well my dad came in and now our house is clean lol. so that was fun. we stayed busy the few days he was here, got a lot done.

yesterday he and randy went up to Phoenix to get a set of tires he found for a good deal. we lost a tire a few weeks ago when we were on our way home from picking up some items. we had been meaning to buy new tires because the ones on that truck were either 4 or 6 years old, i can’t remember.

now we are just waiting for the control arms to come in and he can go to his buddies house to do those and then get it aligned and we will be good on the truck for a while. it needs hoses and stuff done, but it’s not imperative right now. good good good.

I finally got all of Randy’s medical records from TMC. it was pretty difficult to read through those. turns out instead of 4 strokes, he had 8. 4 in each side. the two on the right were the most significant (19 and 17mm) and caused the most damage. those are what paralyzed his left side temporarily and left him with the TPS/DRS that is clearly indicated as of the 2nd day he was in the hospital.

It just baffles my mind that these review doctors have seen all this information and yet have determined that he is still able to work.

Anyway, we have submitted tons of paperwork in the last few weeks also so fingers crossed yet again that we hear good new on that. i was kind of just blunt and honest about stuff this time around when it comes to how he forgets or just flat out doesn’t want to shower because it is so fucking exhausting.

how getting him to brush his hair every day is a challenge, and how he has lost his wallet no less than 5 times in the last 2 years. 3 times to the point where we had to replace everything in it, once with over $200 in cash.

Just....yeah. anywho. we celebrated Dice’s 6th birthday on monday as well lol. i got some free stuff for them from influenster and one of the items (well 3 of the 4) were beneful prepared meals so he got one with a candle in it and poker got the other one (they had split one a few days before, along with the small bag of beggin strips that also came along with the box).

so that was good times. we also made some burgers and brats for the day. some macaroni salad and then strawberry shortcake for dessert. yum. after randy and my dad went to phoenix to get the tires, and I had gotten home from my infusion we all just kinda hung out for a bit and then my dad decided he was going to go back home so he left lol.

randy was like in a whirlwind. he was like he just got here and now he’s gone again lol. i told him, hes by himself, literally, most of the time. so yeah. good stuff.

i dunno what else to say. im finishing up doing my nails again. i had them all pink and cotton candy like but i’m done with that look lol. and i think i painted them on monday. yeah. haha. we’ll see what i come up with. plus i reshaped them too so they look better now. wheeee. i shall talk to you all later. buhbye!
