mrs. america in 2007: March 1: transferred fom FOD

so. there is a show. [well. there are many shows. it’s true there are many shows.]. also this has nothing to do w/ me bitching. or being negative. um anyway. there is a show w/ cate blanchett and rose byrne.
called ‘mrs. america’. it’s so good. it’s about the 1970’s and the enactment of the ERA. cate blanchett. plays an anti-feminist which. i didn’t realise women could be. i just thought oh naturally bc we’re women. we’re feminists. no but apparently not. i don’t. agree w/ the character’s viewpoints.............she plays............phyllis sclhaffley that’s who she plays. i didn’t even know who that was untill i watched the show. anyway. i don’t agree. w/ the viewpoints bc i am a feminist. but it’s certainly interesting to see the other side.
rose byrne plays gloria steinem. i love. gloria steinem. she’s so iconic. and i def. agree w/ her viewpoints. i’m not sure, if the woman herself actually took dance...........or not as i’ve not read a biography. on her. but yeah.
it’s a mini series only 8 ep.s. i’ve only watched the first 4. as i do. i liked the one where they introduce gloria. i’d heard she was in the show. well. not her personally. and i was. looking forward to that. and they mention betty friedman. i like her character as well. i realise apparently that she was an actual person. i agree w/ her viewpoints. and they mention. shirley chambarlain. i have mixed feelings on her. about her.
yeah. it’s a good show. and good music too.
everyone. should watch it. i recommend it.
