Super Villains in Book Seven: Reconstruction 2020

Here’s something that strikes me as… particularly interesting, perhaps even telling… about some of the conspiratorial scuttlebutt surrounding COVID and Vaccines.

One of the big conspiracies, partially helped by the bullshit propaganda YouTube truther crap Plandeimc, is that Bill Gates is responsible for some evil shady things. Depending on who you speak to… either he helped create the virus or he’s funding vaccines so that he can implant every human with some kind of tracking chip or mind control or… insert your typical tinfoil hat schpeel here. Though, I do find it humorous how often the same “nefarious plan” is enacted. When the government put fluoride in drinking water, people were saying it was a mind control or tracking chip scheme. I mean… I’d point out the inconsistencies (why try the same thing over and over if it worked the first time) but I’m creative enough with just enough mental instability that I can argue against my own logic. (1) Humans build up an immunity to the mind control/tracking, so new schemes to re-implant must always be in motion; (2) the success of the previous scheme is never shared with current administrations/master minds to build in plausible deniability which eventually leads to additional schemes being launched as each government/master mind has the same goal.

So. Fine. I’m not even against these bullshit fear fairy tales provided we’re discussing them purely rhetorically. Obviously, these bullshit fear fairy tales have some very real world consequences that should not be overlooked nor swept aside… but I don’t want to have that argument or debate right now. No, I want to discuss the choice of characters.

Bill Gates. This is a man that was a prime villain prior to 2010. The access to technology, the control over computers, the money, the fame… fine. But to think he is The Bond Villain for 2020 is to have stuck your head considerably up your own ass.

We don’t need to invent or even exaggerate in terms of Bond Villains for the Real World.

• Mark Zuckerburg: Face like a robot, controls the largest Social Media website that has proven time and time again to sell your information, have significant global political influence, and has been proven to favor/support Political Misinformation and White Supremacist Content

• Elon Musk: Super wealthy, “harder to distinguish accent”, controls people and openly resists government control and influence.

• Jeff Bezos: Soon to be Trillionaire who openly looks like he’s constantly auditioning for Lex Luthor; creates 3rd World Labor conditions in the United States; could literally tell a State or City government what they were going to do and they’d not only do it… they’d give him a sizable tax credit as a thank you.

-Sundar Pichai: Indian-American businessman so good at being under the radar that you likely don’t even know who he is. He runs Alphabet, the parent company of Google. Google, the world’s most popular search engine… that also runs Google Meet Up Video Chatting, and GMail internet electronic mail, and officially and publicly has two “mysterious vessels” off the coast of the US for R&D… a company that has been buying up DARPA robots for the last many years.

• Not to mention the plethora of Government Heads that are still passionately anti-US… Putin, Xi, Kim, Rouhani… to name a few.

So… in this abundant ocean of legitimate “Bond Villains for the Real World”… the mastermind behind this vaccine/mind control conspiracy is… Bill Gates? The guy without whom you likely wouldn’t have a computer on which to be a crazy person? The guy that has already donated 90% of his wealth to various charity and global initiatives? The guy that has put into his will extremely generous ongoing philanthropic work? The guy of The Bill And Melinda Gates Foundation? THAT guy is your Bond Villain of choice for your 2020 conspiracy? Not… the people who have been actively Bond Villains in and around 2020?

And therein lies the rub, of course. Because if the villain was somebody obvious, somebody that people might say, “Yeah, makes sense” than it wouldn’t trigger the psychologically proven requirement that draws Conspiracies to so many. The need to feel special. The need to feel like one possess certain knowledge, membership, or attributes that separate them from a larger mass. The fun thing about conspiracies in the internet age is… they also trigger an important counter requirement as well. A need for belonging. If you marry those two needs… you get what we’ve got now.

I want to feel special and important. Like I have specific knowledge or I’m smarter or I’m better than others. But I don’t want to be alone. Wait… there is a faceless, disconnected army of people that will accept me while promoting the same “special and important” knowledge I claim to have?! YES PLEASE! Which is why the villain had to be Bill Gates… or the reality that Tupac is alive and faked his death… or the sincere understood truth that the earth is flat!! Because it can’t be something that everybody else knows, suspects, believes, or can prove. It has to be something special that puts you above others… just so long as there are also enough people that believe it, too, so you can feel like you belong somewhere.
