no brain brain storm for D&D in Second 1st

It’s Wednesday. As far as I know we will be playing D&D this afternoon. i have roughly an hour to build a Hall and determine where it is in the world.... but .... Well honestly, i don’t think they will find it today.
They had found a ledger that had clues as to where Steelhand Hall was located but William tried to read it and was unable to. He has not as of yet attempted to read it again. If He does he will make it easy for me I’ll make up directions and monuments/landmarks.... a single oak tree in a pine forest .... They are determined to find it and left out for it at the end of the last session. They only made it 50 feet into the woods before they were attacked by an ogre. After the fight they went back to their little settlement at The Knuckle to rest. If they bother to look at anything ever they might notice younger trees in almost a path. This would be where the road was so very long ago. The worst part about being a DM is that I know they won’t look. Before they killed him Delg had taken a guess at where the forge would be kept. He pretty much so drew a radius and said that any further out would be silly. However, the module I’d used for The Knuckle says that this was the furthest mine. That young men came here often spending years away from family to prove their worth. So they are not going to find it within Delg’s guessing area. While they are wandering around the woods I’ll have them find some random monument or whatever.... and see where they go from there. Steelhand Hall will be 2 weeks travel from The Knuckle. Each day I’ll roll for “random” encounters and each night they should set watch.... I hate that so much of this depends on what they do .... and if they don’t do those things… any of them? .... well, I guess they will just be wondering in the woods then killing random things.... seems like a pretty easy session to write....
1hr till I pick up stuff at Wal-Mart.... time to get to it.
