I'll never get to know in poetry

within the swirl of her complexities
she embodies the Hegelian Dialectic
of Disney cartoon musical features
sugar-sweet Snow White as thesis
the wond’rous and terrible queen
her equal-and-opposite antithesis
there in-between encapsulating both
lay her fragile and awesome beauty
bluebirds and ravens flock in unison
to the terror and the mellifluousity
that coexist within her soul’s song
light eyes set against midnight hair
ominous gorgeous hanging in still air
singing forth her lovely wicked name
wicked and lovely just the same
