Quarantine 2 in Public

When was the last time you left your home?
We left today to go see Mac at his Board and Train place. We stopped at Dunks drive thru and Starbucks drive thru and then when we got back into town Liam ran into Home Depot

Are you able to work from home?
I don’t have a job right now

If you have kids, do you find home schooling to be hard?
I am a teacher so I would find it intriguing, as long as I wasn’t also teaching a class full of students. I’m a big home-school proponent.

What are your quarantine hobbies?
Social media and watching whatever is on CNN

Have you picked up a new hobby?
Not really, instead I’m completing small tasks around the house. Today I put together one of those cube storage unit systems in my office room. I did learn to bake banana bread and to make chicken vindaloo.

Have you kept a routine?
For the most part, yes.

Best show you’ve binge-watched?
All American.

What is the first thing you’re going to do when quarantine is over?
I want to go to the movies so badly.

Do you think things will get ever go back to normal?
I hope that things change to a new normal where we appreciate the people who get paid the least.

Has your significant other/roommates/family been driving you crazy?
Not more than normal. We’ve, basically, been self-isolating for the last 2 years since we moved to Florida. We don’t have people here, other than my friend Gwenn.

Have you cooked any new recipes?
Yes, several through Blue Apron, our meal delivery service, plus the Banana bread and Vindaloo

Have you gotten dressed up just to sit at home?
I only recently started staying in 100% of the day. Until last Wednesday I had been out on a daily basis, just doing one errand at a time or going to one appointment for myself or with Mac. This mean I’ve been getting dressed daily and yes, sometimes even just to sit at home. Today I have on shorts and a t-shirt.

What have you been doing for self-care?
I mean, I got the stuff to do Color Street on my nails but then all my nails started breaking so now I’m waiting for them to grow a bit. I take baths and I like to just be alone for a bit each day. This is because Mac can be a lot sometimes but also because I need to recharge. Sometimes that means just driving to get the mail.
