Running out of clever COVID titles.
Today has been very meh. I slept through my alarm and had weird dreams as a result. Then the sourdough starting I’ve been trying to get started for more than a week got gross enough that I actually had to throw it out, and the day just got more meh from there.
My niece (D) is upset with my sister (C) because she is getting married and will be moving in with her new husband - which means there’s a good chance C will sell her house. Mind you, both of her daughters live on the other side of the country (D, age 24, is in Vegas, and her sister A, almost 26, is in Seattle), and neither have any interest in moving back to Florida - but because they lived in that house as kids, D expects C to hang on to the house forever just so they can visit occasionally? I tried to talk to her about it, about how her mother is a teacher and doesn’t have unlimited funds to maintain a separate house JUST IN CASE THEY EVER VISIT but she is not thinking rationally, so it was a pretty fruitless conversation. Mind you, my sister isn’t even thinking of selling the house yet, but she probably will at some point because it would make financial sense.
I’m just over people right now.
I started watching Tales from the Loop on Amazon Prime. It’s interesting but also dark and a bit sad, so probably not the best thing for me to be watching right now, but whatever.
I’m supposed to be visiting my sister for Spring Break. I should be sitting on a beach with my feet in the sand and a cocktail in my hand. Instead I’m in day whatever-this-is of quarantine.
Meh.

Handy to be over people right now since we’re supposed to be over everyone. I guess?
