These Afternoons in Thirty-Five

But really what have you all been up to these days? I need to get a handle on my laundry and just my house in general ugh. The whole spring cleaning bug is about to bite me. Have I ever mentioned how I love to vacuum? I’m not even being sarcastic here. I LOVE VACUUMING! lol i know, so weird. But we have carpet in the bedrooms only which is fine. I don’t want to vacuum 1600 square feet. Even though I technically could because we have all the attachments.

Speaking of the Kirby (vacuum) I got a notification from Credit Karma a few weeks ago saying that my score had gone up somehow. That there was like $1400 less in debt to my name so I had no idea that number didn’t really ring a bell. So when I looked it up and saw who it was and what had happened, it kind of made sense and also was a huge relief.

UCFS, the ones we got the Kirby from (salesman from a home show suckered us into buying it, we wound up owing a lot more on it and got behind, etc) just wrote it off as a loss on their part. So that helps us a little bit. Well me anyway, since it was under my name and affected my credit. Anyway, so that was that. we have a vacuum now that is amazing and it’s been written off our credit report lol.

I totally started this entry like three days ago and now I don’t even remember half of what I was coming here to say.

So much shit changed this week lol. On friday I got my normal call from the Infusion Center to remind me about my appointment on Monday. But the instructions were “we’ll test you before you go in to see if you have a fever, if you do you will have to reschedule, if not, you’re good to go, and NO GUESTS, just you.”

OOOOkkkk then. Sweet. So Monday, did that. I was supposed to see my Foot Dr on Wednesday to pick up my orthotics. They called me Monday I think also to say that My appointment had to be changed from Wednesday to Thursday because they were only working out of one office and la ti da. No problem there.

Tuesday we went under a mandatory stay at home order (not locked down or anything) So i got a phone call from the foot dr saying my appointment had been rescheduled to May 6th. So I won’t get those until then. BLAH. Oh well.

My rheumy’s office called me to say they would send my bloodwork order to my nearest lab so I could get that done. And that my appointment for the 9th (next thursday) had been moved to a video conference. At least it’s not being moved a month out or anything. I mean it wouldn’t really matter much but my knee and my wrists have been bugging me A LOT so we’ll see if he can tell me anything to do or what.

UHHHMMMM.....I have my next infusion on the 27th, Randy sees his Primary that day too as a follow up to his BP stuff. Other than that we really don’t have much going on the rest of the month, which is good.

At some point we do need to do grocery shopping though and hopefully actually buy everything we need to in one trip. I hope the hoarding has stopped by the time we get our FS on the 8th. We did get a sam’s club membership though thanks to my dad. Apparently he went to LC with my aunt and he signed up for one there, so that was good stuff. We have that now which helps A TON.

We’re still trying to capture the mouse or whatever rodent it is in the rat room (obviously not one of my rats lol) and so we have unfortunately resorted to a glue trap. it’s started getting into the rats’ food so we need to figure this out asap.

Tomorrow I gotta pay bills and then see how much dinero we have, which should be enough to get some lunch and then some weed. I already know i’m making some shrimps camping tomorrow. LMAO I know it’s shrimp scampi, but i saw this dude make it on Insta yesterday and it was hilarious and he called it shrimps camping. It looked bomb as fuck too. With Barilla Linguine which is what we have lol.

Once all this is over, I know my dad is going to want to go somewhere, so we’ll see where we end up lol. Even just to Taos. Haven’t been up that way in a while. But we’ll have to take the dogs. If not we’re going to save up and take our Cali trip for his birthday if we are able.

I do just want to ask for prayers for my brothers and sisters in law. They’re all 4 in the medical field. They all have kids. So please just keep them in your thoughts as this whole situation continues to unfold. Hopefully it’ll get better soon.
